Before becoming a mentor, Antonio was a prominent entrepreneur who instilled his ethical and moral values, and not only achieved impressive financial results, but also profoundly impacted the lives of his employees, customers, and suppliers, who continue to apply his practices even after his departure. In August 2018, in Matola, he helped 466 clients open bank accounts, strengthening the local financial ecosystem and promoting financial inclusion. His influence on the banks resulted in the installation of new ATMs in the communities he served.
His presence is also felt in various factories in Mozambique, some of which had Antonio laying the first stone. In the cement sector, his initial purchases are still remembered in the factories.
Recognizing his role as a natural leader, the founder of MGP realized that Antonio was already informally mentoring factory owners, many of them foreigners. In a way, he was providing mentorship.
